What I miss from home lets say, is everyone getting together and playing.
Yes I put the period there, Of course I meant playing musical instruments and dancing but why limit ourselves? Improve Theater anyone? zz)

Well, I have posted on Craigs list for awhile, with slow results for Drum circle members. (1 result) new kid from the US west coast.

I will not start describing what drum circles are. However if anyone does have a question please go ahead and post it for all.
I lived near and lived at the Nokomis beach drum circle in Fl. (u tube it)
there were great ones in San Diego, Ashville NC, Siesta key (all the time but crazy) - This is how I know to get ppl together and keep the Grove, what do you know of?

I have no idea what this is all about, may I assume it's banging a drum with mates, but good luck in finding whatever makes you happy. Maybe if you put a few signs up at he Universities there would be a response.

Hey, Yeah, posting public notices could work, but **shrugs** -- regarding your description: When people are together, you build energy & flow with a heart beat behind activity. I think people react to any melody and Rhythm but which effect on all participants you get depends on he type. If you have a love of heavy metal then yes, you have a rhythm & all but it's not naturally finding a sub pattern of the body or collective interaction & sharing of playing / building something together. (Unless your in the band, -which is another thing, then 'watching' a performance, kapish?

Yes well I have no idea what you're going on about either .. but you could also try posting the idea up on Meet in Athens site as well. They are starting to have lots of very varied meetings - different language evenings, book clubs, jazz nights etc. etc.

Well, here is another xpat web site I didn't know about ;zz) I joined but I'll read it in detail later. Cheers. - I guess, this is why the world is such a big place, you can have so many types of underground communities in the same spot with out ever cross breeding. -

Has anyone ever done Improvisation acting? Theater where you play games and follow some very limited rules to create new ideas and live performances on the spot?

Do people like to play in guitar circles? mixture of American / western music from the 60's to present.. (I play moody blues, Simoong Garfunkal, Jim croche, Joan Beaz, Donovan, ballads folk country.. examples but not limited to at all.
