This one is well recommended also....

Kipos Tis Edem
Dining Middle Eastern Style
This Lebanese restaurant (its name means "Garden of Eden") has a cozy, dark interior that conveys a relaxed feeling with wood-beamed ceilings, white stucco walls and modest, central fireplaces. Order the hummus (a standard favorite)

Beyrouth -Beirut in Glyfada is the best one. My mother in law is lebanese, we go there for family parties etc. Nuff said. Get the salads, meze, felafel hummus etc and then get mixed grill with shish taouh (marinated grilled chicken) with garlic sauce (ahh). Bottom of Saki Karagiorgas, near church. Even my kids love the spiced liver.

Actually, the Beyrouth is pretty good. They have dancing girls there on Friday/Saturday night and the food isn't bad. Not fantastic decor and not exactly luxurious, but for a decent meal and nice food it's fine.

Do any of these do the raw liver we used to enjoy at the restaurant in Brumannah, just outside Beirut? Was delicious!

And what about the spam with zhatar?

How can I get a chain restaurant to build a location in my town? Our town doesn't have a single "sit down" supper type of chain restaurant. We have a decent sized college, 5 or 6 bars that get packed every night, a computer software company that employs over a hundred people, but no one to really finance purchasing an entire franchise.
