Yes had forgotten all this hysteria about having to take down the decorations on the 6th until last night when was round at a friends place here in Athens who suddently went doo-lally because it was 1 a.m (i.e. 7th) and she hadn't taken her decorations down. Which she then did promptly with the words "oh it's ok ... it's still the 6th if we think in British time" . Umm. Ok then. :retard:

Oh My God, I'm so confused !!

I'm English so should take the decs down today. But we live in Greece so apparently should leave them up for 2 more days. BUT - my partners Polish and they don't take their decs down until the end of January.

HELP _ WHAT DO I DO ?!?! I'm going slightly mad (der?)

You tell that pole to stick to her dancing and leave traditions and supersticions to the more advanced nations such as..... such as.... such as..... Okay, just whatever!
In all fairness, I don't think that any scientific study has ever established that 'household A' which took it's decos down before the deadline, was a luckier household than 'household B' which kept them up well beyond the deadline! Somehow, I would like to think that God has better things to do than to sit around whacking people who don't get their Christmas decorations right! In fact, as Christmas decorations are not Christian at all, but pagan, He's more likely to whack you for putting them up in the first place! ic_shock
Just accept that whatever you do, you'll upset somebody!

BTW: Do you realise that your status details still show you as living in Logga?

As a pagan I like to follow the lead of our local council which leaves the xmas decorations up all year and just turns them when appropriate.

Blimey KP, all that snow didn't freeze any brain cells did it ? I'll update my details at once !!

Good idea Kiwi, but it sounds very complicated for such a simple soul as me - so everything came down today and is now boxed up until December !!
