I have just moved (back) to Athens and this time I want to learn Greek properly. Can anyone recommend someone? I live in central Athens, and would preferably like to have morning or evening lessons once or twice a week. Would not rule out private lessons if possible at home or in my office in Piraeus.

    Any ideas welcome!

The Athens Centre http://athenscentre.gr are centrally based (Mets) and offer different levels as well as various lengths of courses. I did levels 1-4 with them many years ago and would strongly recommend them.
Although the courses seem expensive (650 euros) they provide 60 hours of tuition which works out at under 11 euros per hour, which isn’t bad for foreign language lessons. Also their teachers are (or certainly were) excellent.
    Good Luck!
